What if Today Was the Last Day of Your Life?

November 9, 2011

Can you really live as though today is your last day to live? What would you do if today was indeed the last day of your life? Most people answer this with doing things they have most wanted to do, or living for themselves. But if you really think hard and truly believe this is your last day of your life, what would you really do?

If today was indeed my last day and I would really be dead tomorrow, I would try to secure the future for my family in whatever little time I had. And then I would thank the people who have played any part in my life, and apologize to people who I might have hurt. Now imagine how wonderful life would be if we were indeed living as though today is the last day of our lives. All we need to do is to thank people who make a difference and apologize to people who we might have hurt. Life is so much more beautiful and peaceful with this attitude.

    A wonderful thought 🙂
Life would get so much easier and pleasant if we actually start living that way 😀

I feel death is a paradox. We worry so much ..like the question u have asked but then if we are dead, we are free..even from judgement of those left behind as to what we did or did not!

True Reema. But’s is the life that makes things complicated, even making us worry about what happens after our death.
